Job Description
Get to know the Team
- As an Analyst of Demand Planning & Project Management, you will report into the Manager of Demand Planning & Project Management and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
- This role, sitting in the commercial team, requires the candidate to develop a deep understanding of the Deliveries and Grab Fin business (GrabFood, GrabMart, Jaya Grocer, grab pay, insurance) and drive planning and implementation of growth strategies on Grab using different in house promotion, marketing and advertising levers.

- The candidate will also partner closely with Grabbers across marketing, account management, product teams on package design & pricing; performance analysis & reporting; and overall program operations.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will work with data to draw business insights and integrate them with product understanding to propose campaigns and/or non-campaign-based experiments/initiatives to grow demand.
- You will monitor week-on-week performance numbers, investigate trends or anomalies, and respond by developing tactical solutions to improve performance or troubleshooting with the product team as needed.
- You will drive projects or implement cross-department initiatives, ensuring smooth execution by closely tracking progress and following up with different teams.
- You will identify continuous operational improvements to scale the program.
Qualifications
What Skills You Will Need
- You have at least 2 years of experience in growth planning, online marketing, and planning demand generation strategic initiatives in any online industry. Work experience in and/or familiarity with Retail, F&B, or E-commerce.
- You have strong analytical skills to extract performance insights from large data sets to influence program design and iterations. Proficiency in advanced Excel/Google Sheets and SQL.
- You have strong communication and project management skills, including the ability to present insights, experiments, and campaign suggestions in a thoughtful manner.
- You have a strong sense of curiosity to learn tools and products and understand how different internal platforms come together to operationalize marketing programs.
- You have a preference for previous working experience in a fast-growing or tech company and balance detail with quick execution.
