Job Description

Your Team

This team provides day-to-day client service and reporting support of existing clients. Providing performance data and prepares analytical materials used in institutional client reviews. Coordinating activities with internal operations staff, custodian banks and client staff and resolves administrative and operations inquiries.

Your Role

This role offers an opportunity to leverage expertise in Investment Distribution Services to deliver optimal solutions for clients and internal partners. Our focus is on maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their feedback and perspectives guide our deliverables. Responsibilities include producing high quality reporting materials as needed, while providing support to stakeholders and offshore teams. Tasked with providing oversight and assistance on daily operations requests, the right individual will recognize the importance of collaborating with internal subject matter experts to address more complex requests effectively.
 

You will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate regular meetings to build and maintain strong relationships with North American stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.

  • Oversee and manage projects to ensure timely completion and high quality outputs for various monthly/quarterly client reports, monthly/quarterly consultant update questionnaires, compliance requests, audit requests, changes to guidelines, etc.

  • Collaborate with offshore team with any updates or changes related to reporting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on time delivery of client reports.

  • Identify and implement process improvements by utilizing trackers and gathering feedback.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, monitoring, and oversight, of the operational processes impacting client accounts and improving on internal processes where needed to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Establish strong working relationships with various IDS stakeholders with a focus on product managers, client relationship managers and operational teams.

  • Conduct regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment and address stakeholder concerns.

  • Ensure client SLAs are performed accurately, timely and efficiently; ensuring teams meet critical deadlines

  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations resulting from the analysis of data collected on client queries and request

  • Works on assignments of diverse scope and complexity where initiative and independent judgement is required to search out appropriate course of action within and outside the context of established policies and procedures

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus

  • 5+ years of work experience in Asset Management and Financial Services.

  • 3+ years of direct Investment Operations experience.

  • 3+ years of direct client service experience.

  • Broad knowledge of Asset Management products, retail and institutional distribution channels, and regulatory issues.

  • Existing knowledge of Invesco products is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of investment operations, retail and institutional distribution channels, regulatory issues and systems

  • Strong working knowledge of robust operating procedures and controls

  • Uses a logical framework to gather all relevant facts

  • 'Can do' and enthusiastic attitude with strong client/sales support bias, showing initiative and seeking to embrace evolving requirements, with a focus on quality and consistency at all times

  • Ability and demonstrated track record of reviewing processes and making enhancements
