Job Description SummaryAs an Analyst in Business Development & Strategy, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis involved in strategy and business planning for various clinical care pathways and products/services globally. The strategies are expected to inform organic growth as well as lead to transactions that will range from Partnerships, Licensing, investments to Mergers & Acquisitions, in adjacent and new markets to accelerate GE HealthCare’s growth. The role will partner with GE Healthcare’s Business Segment Product and other Functional teams.

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
- Support business plan analysis and development, execution of program and deals. Analysis will entail studying markets, products, players, internal and external technology and Intellectual Property (IP), competitive/complementary options, clinical care areas and workflows, and financials.
- Support business development deal execution that will range from partner identification, negotiation, contract and deal closing, and managing post deal obligations for further growth.
- Work with GE HealthCare teams to develop plan, manage communications and support alignment with key internal stakeholders to support program and deal closing.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, natural science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 year experience in business and IP analytics and supporting licensing or commercialization of new technologies.
- Healthcare domain experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Advanced degree (M.S., M.A., MBA, PhD) in engineering, physical, software, marketing, finance, legal or healthcare sciences.
- Validated knowledge of building business cases for patent/technology driven programs, including market sizing, valuation and customer identification.
- 5 years’ experience with new technology in healthcare, energy, materials, software, IoT, electrical & mechanical system domains.
- Demonstrated experience in technology, intellectual property analysis and landscape assessment.
- Experience with IP technology transfer, licensing, sale and/or for development across multiple companies.
- Able to effectively work with all levels of internal and external customers & partners.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
