Purpose of the Role
The S4o9 D&A AMEA Lead is accountable for implementation of the s4o9 D&A scope, also provide oversight & coordination within their areas, including change and value realization. This is achieved by bridging the functional business team requirements in AMEA Region and Global business and technical teams during S4o9 transformation project.
This role requires business requirements translation into technical solutions, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration across departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive S4o9 Data & Analytics end-to-end deliverables including remediation of use cases on SAP BW, GCP, self service, along with data enablement and new rollouts in o9.
- Based on program RACI - the role is accuntable to lead the regional discovery for the D&A function, Co-lead the regional fit gap with global program team identifying smartfield needs required beyond the global template, ccountable for user testing, cutover, hypercare, change management and training working with global program teams
- Operates through program defined Ways of Working and operating model, driving effectiveness and structure
Act as a trusted partner for the S4o9 Regional Lead and represent the D&A workstream in regional leadership forums.
- Collaborate on comprehensive data strategy to support the D&A transformation, including data migration, data quality, and data governance.
- Contribute to Global template and design, ensuring AMEA regional inputs are captured through fit-gap analysis and defining AMEA scope partnering with S4o9 Regional Leads, Data & Analytics professionals, and other workstreams.
- Collaborate with architects and partners to ensure the technical design appropriately addresses the regional scope
- Ensure the successful migration, remediation and optimization of Data & analytics capabilities within the new S/4HANA environment.
- Prioritize and manage data enablement and new reports build in o9.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with AMEA business objectives and timelines.
- Drive the communication of technical changes for AMEA Self-Service reporting.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the S4o9 transformation project.
- Ensure continued adoption of remediated and new reports aiming to optimize data processes and analytics performance post-transformation.
Experience Required and Role Implications
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, and project management with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence, within IT or business function. SAP ECC to S4 experience and/or supply chain planning experience strongly recommended.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and manage cross-functional teams in a global environment. Experience in transformation projects is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tools. Experience with SAP systems is a strong plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
How you will contribute
• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end Data & Analytics delivery in AMEA within S4o9 transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Regional functional teams and Global business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of data and analytics professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Reporting: Establish and maintain governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability on AMEA Data & Analytics deliverables throughout the S4o9 transformation process.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transformation project, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
