ALM Solutions Sales Representative

PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our Japan sales organization where you will have the opportunity work in the Application Life-Cycle Management or ALM space. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries, especially automotive. We are looking for motivated sales professionals to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturer/end users looking to embrace ALM technologies for their respective markets through an open platform offering. This individual is required to have the skillset to translate the ALM value proposition into real-world business value. 

Your Day-To-Day 

  • Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC’s Application Life-cycle Management mainly to the automotive industry
  • Provide leadership to a cross-functional account team (sales, presales specialists, global services and partners)
  • Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship with customers/prospects Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close.
  • Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
  • Build high level executive/SVP relationship sales long term partnership
  • Ability to follow the global market trends

Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in selling enterprise solutions to major accounts
  • Knowledge of software development
  • Automotive industry knowledge strongly preferred
  • Successful sales track record
  • Able to work in a team and goals driven
  • Fluent in English

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
