What You'll Be Doing:
As our GranulEye® Software & Automation Engineer, you'll be the one making our system work smoothly. You'll be developing and refining the software that analyzes images and controls our automated processes.
Here's What You'll Focus On:
- Image Analysis:
- Develop ways to analyze microscopic images of cell reactions.
- Use machine learning to identify cells and patterns.
- Hardware Automation:
- Write code to control cameras, lights, and precise mechanical movements.
- Make sure our automated processes run reliably in a lab setting.
- System Integration:
- Test and troubleshoot the whole system.
- Ensure everything is accurate and repeatable.
- User Feedback:
- Talk to lab technicians and clinicians to improve the system.
- Document your work and help with validation.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or something similar.
- Experience with image processing and machine learning in medical applications.
- Skills in Python and related tools for data and image analysis (OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NumPy, scikit-image, etc.).
- Experience with hardware integration and automation.
- Someone who can work independently and solve problems.
- Experience in a biology lab is a plus.
- Good English skills (Dutch is a bonus).
- Ideally located in the Netherlands, or able to travel to Arnhem regularly.
