Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Develop new features, Improve current image processing algorithm to achieve better sensitivity and stability.
- Analyzing current signal and noise to understand what is the limitation from current algo.
- Provide new solution prototype and test them in-house and on-site.
- Provide algorithm technical support for escalations in various of product life cycle phases onsite.
- Interacting with cross-functional teams and customers to address issues and investigate solutions.
- Investigating feasibility of advance algorithm for next generation product through collaboration with technology and system architect group.
- Provide prototype algorithm solution for special customer engagement project at customer site.
- Working with product system engineering team to define the algorithm performance specification and use it to guide the algorithm design and implementation.
- Act as the algorithm representative during system level hardware/software integration, trouble shooting.
- Participate in software quality assurance activities required by the software development process.
- Occasional (<=10%) travel to HQ for cooperation with HQ team is required.
- Troubleshooting on customer site (<=50%) is required.

Qualifications:
- Strong C/C++ programming skill is a must.
- Strong CUDA programming skill is highly desired.
- Strong python and/or Java programming is a plus.
- Solid theoretical background in image processing, computer vision and deep learning.
- Research and/or software development experience on Unix/Linux platform is a plus.
- Background in computational geometry, or design file (OASISS) is highly desired.
