Application Specialist (AI/ML)

Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Optimize algorithms and models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI/ML systems in production.
- Contribute to the development of reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to accelerate AI/ML development across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, machine learning & software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 7 strong analytical thinking & problem solving.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies & work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
