Central AI Org overview:

ADI’s Central Artificial Intelligence (AI) team develops next-generation AI technology that transforms our understanding of the physical world.  We develop solutions at multiple tech stack layers, from AI-enabled software applications to deeply embedded AI algorithms.  We aim to build the Intelligent Edge and transform every impactful enterprise area with AI-driven solutions.

As a critical team member, you will contribute to developing a secure, scalable, and reliable Cloud hosting infrastructure and onboard applications to the platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of internet engineering fundamentals, a strong background in applying DevOps methodologies, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, and deep experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools. This is a senior role that requires 80% hands-on technical development.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Cloud infrastructure for AI/ML-enabled applications using infrastructure-as-code software tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef) 
  • Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other developer tools 
  • Ensure Cloud infrastructure's security, availability, and reliability via monitoring, observability, and alerting 
  • Work closely with our Software Engineers to optimize performance and scalability and deliver highly available customer-facing products 
  • Create infrastructure code and reference architectures for orchestrating environment creation, housekeeping, and deployment throughout the application and product life cycles 
  • Support pre-production and production environments, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in code and in the environment, conduct root cause analyses and incident response 
  • Act as a mentor for other members of the team 
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and operational tools 

Requirements: 

  • At least 12+ years of experience in a cloud-based, DevOps, or software engineering role supporting production applications or production environments 
  • At least 7 years of experience in an on-call rotation, supporting production applications, or otherwise being responsible for resolving time-sensitive issues in customer-facing applications. 
  • At least 12+ years of experience operating in at least one major cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure; Azure experience preferred 
  • At least 7+ years of driving distributed system architecture
  • Deep knowledge of containerization and packaging using technologies such as Docker or Podman or CRI-O, Helm or Kustomize 
  • At least 8+ years of experience operating a container orchestration platform, such as Kubernetes, in a production environment 
  • At least 10+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure/ GCP/AWS Cloud Build, Jenkins, or Github CI 
  • Experience hosting and scaling data infrastructure and integrating multi-cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of Buy Vs Build strategy
  • Value culture and good relationship-building with cross-functional teams
  • Expert Unix/Linux and networking skills and proficient in system integration 
  • Deep understanding of web app. hosting, micro-service architecture
  • Working experience with ML-OPS/LLM-OPS preferred
  • Proficient in SRE activities
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation and deployment processes to ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
