AI Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer, who will drive the adoption of AI technologies by actively sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and creating engaging content that elevates the company’s internal and external brand. This hands-on position will focus on promoting the practical application of AI, ensuring that teams deeply understand its transformative potential. By fostering collaboration and inspiring colleagues, the AI Engineer will strengthen the organization’s reputation as a leader in AI innovation.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Fluent in Python or Javascript
• Cloud Engineering experience in any of the big three: AWS, GCP or Azure
• K8s, FastAPI, serverless infrastructure experience. 
• Advanced Analytics, ML Engineer experience (A plus)
• Strong knowledge of how Developer AI Tools work and integrate in the Development Lifecycle
• Machine Learning & AI Frameworks, hands-on experience with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar libraries.
• Experience working with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML) and MLOps best practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) of models.
• Comfortable using automation tools sunch as Make, Zapier, Power Automate, etc, to create advance workflowsoservices: Airflow Pipelines, prefect, Hybrid Cloud and Cloud, DevOps skills, CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in mentoring or training teams on AI-related topics is a plus.
• Good conversational level in English.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative environment where teams can freely exchange AI ideas, tools, and methodologies..
• Share insights and real-world AI applications that highlight the organization’s AI capabilities and enhance our brand image both internally and externally.
• Act as a liaison between AI specialists and other departments, ensuring effective collaboration and the practical application of AI across functions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to implement AI-driven solutions that improve business processes and customer experience.
• Apply AI techniques and tools directly to solve real-world challenges within the company, ensuring AI solutions deliver tangible results.
• Mentor colleagues, guiding them in integrating AI into their workflows and encouraging continuous learning and development.
