Figure’s vision is to deploy autonomous humanoids at a global scale. Our Helix team is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to build and optimize the datasets that power our state-of-the-art robotic manipulation models. This role focuses on analyzing robotic data and creating high-quality training datasets. The ideal candidate has experience training or building datasets for a large scale deep learning system.
Responsibilities
- Create massive-scale robot learning datasets using queries and data processing scripts
- Analyze, augment and transform the data
- Collaborate with data infrastructure engineers to develop automated data pipelines
- Integrate AI models to automate manual tasks while maintaining high quality
- Work closely with AI researchers, robot operators, and annotators to support new model architectures and dataset requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch) and SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional experience working with large-scale deep learning systems
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with robotic manipulation
- Experience in distributed systems
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $400,000 annually.
The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
