This individual will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and operations, enhancing our deployment pipeline to deliver software efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers to streamline and automate our deployment processes.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable releases.
- Oversee infrastructure management, ensuring high availability and scalability of our systems.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
- Foster best practices for configuration management, monitoring, and logging to enhance system performance.
- Coach and mentor team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successful team management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
