Agronomist
Location: Sikhiu district, Nakorn Ratchasima province
Reports to: Waxy cassava manager

Our mission is to ensure the waxy cassava produce is being grown sustainably with secured source of root supply in response with demand and good practices.
The Agronomist is responsible for seeking for the waxy demand, recommend the good cultivation practices and consistently engaged with suppliers (brokers, farmers) to establish and grow reliable and sustainable sources of tapioca supply according to the company’s growth plan.
Core Responsibilities:
- Demand creation – farm promotion to identify for plantation and goods selection’s area.
- Field waxy operation – Manage sustainable field adoption.
- Planting material waxy operation - Effectively manage planting materials’ utilization of waxy cassava and ensure the good stewardship of planting materials among farmers’ networks.
- Waxy operation - Root harvesting - Manage the harvesting plan to align between harvest and plant grinding schedule to the most effective raw material grinding.
- Data completeness – Record cultivation data for growth rate, quality and plant’s productivity.
- Farmer app & Technology Adoption- Fully implement technology and programs that helps to promote waxy program growth and farmer outreach.
- Productivity – Manage the incoming roots and cover for the quality management with cost-control.
- Care first: Accountable for the implementation of Food Quality and Safety Management systems such as FSSC 22000, GHPS, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NON – GMO, etc.

Mandatory requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge in agricultural science and agricultural extension such as soil nutrition, pests and diseases, water management, Agro-chemicals’ usage, organic products.
- Farmers and brokers’ engagement experience.
- Driving license is required and able to travel extensively.
- Capable in working in an open field environment with minimal supervision.
Desirable requirements:
- Intensive knowledge in agricultural science and agricultural extension.
- Good computer literacy.
- Fast learner.
