As an Agility Lead in the Commercial & Investment Bank - Digital & Platform Services team, you serve as a seasoned member of technology leadership team by enabling and providing Agile/PM support to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. We look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation & engineering practices. You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with technology teams, production owners, SRE teams and other stakeholders to develop and document the business strategy and plans and leads projects, directing program planning and management, issue identification and resolution, risk management, analytical design and deliverable definition, manages change requests
  • Organizes and leads scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives and develops and executes comprehensive project plans to achieve desired outcomes, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, solution quality, leveraging consistent methodology across all programs
  • Implements common, consistent routines, resources and tools to track and report status of key programs and develop metrics, scorecard and dashboard reporting for tracking of key initiatives leveraging common frameworks
  • Identifies and effectively communicates with key stakeholders throughout the project, understanding their needs and expectations
  • Leads cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and facilitate communication and collaboration across work-stream members and provides clear direction and support to team members.
  • Provides regular updates on project plans and progress and prepares program updates for key forums, management updates and business reviews
  • Identifies, assesses and manages issues with appropriate escalation and supports centralized tracking and reporting of key issues across programs and ensures decisions are brought forward to appropriate forums.
  • Leads and coaches teams to adopt and implement agile methodologies and promote open communication and engagement among team members ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Uses advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership and monitor and track the team's progress, ensuring adherence to agile metrics and providing regular reports to management on sprint outcomes and team performance.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management
  • Experience creating dashboard with difference views, graphs, charts to track team's progress, backlog health , metrics, performance optimization etc.
  • Skilled in Confluence, SharePoint and Jira and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent knowledge of scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement).
  • PMP Certified, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience in fostering a collaborative team environment and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and listening skills - ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently, develop relationships at all levels of the organization and to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong executive presence and meeting facilitation, document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings and pro-active self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
  • Experienced in executive status reporting and managing multiple projects/priorities with the ability to tailor communication of plans (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience with strong planning and organization skills, business writing and attention to detail, develop effective presentations

  • Promote a flexible team environment that can handle changes with agility while maintaining focus on managing deadlines, organizing and prioritizing work and delivering value to the business
  • Strong people management skills, excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Including Scrum, Kanban and Lean.
