The Employee Compliance Technology Programme is responsible for re-platforming legacy Compliance applications onto modern, scalable, cloud-ready technology. The new GECCo platform (Global Employee Compliance Collective) will centralise all employee compliance tasks in Deutsche Bank, moving employees and Compliance to a self-service model, eliminating manual intervention, and improving data quality by ensuring it is consumed strategically from authoritative sources.
As an Agile scrum Master/ Product Owner within Employee Compliance Technology, you will take responsibility for maximizing the value of for one or more GECCo products delivered with their multidisciplinary agile team. You will contribute to the Product Vision and Roadmap, manage team backlogs, and liaise with our business and technology stakeholders to further develop and enhance the product, ensuring it is consistent with strategy.
The Product Owner aligns scope and priorities to relevant strategic goals and requirements of customers, users, stakeholders and their team. In defining priorities, they use a combination of value, delivery effort and dependency information, ensuring value is delivered as early as possible and maximised overall.
As a servant-leader, they enable their agile team to work in a self-directed way with team members supported in applying their skills to innovate and deliver the agreed product outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
- Define and prioritize development of the product in collaboration with all stakeholders and keeping them informed of status
- Work with the teams in building and owning a product structure of epics, features and stories
- Adjust features and priorities dynamically based on user feedback and realignment of business demands, accepting or rejecting features as delivered by development
- Demonstrate functionality to stakeholders gather feedback
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product adoption by business
- Contribute and help teams meet standards, engineering best practices and quality standards.
Your skills and experience
- Hands-on experience in Product Ownership, structured business analysis methods, data extraction, data processing and tools within Compliance /Financial Services
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate user needs on a long-term basis in order to build a continuous vision for the product, gaining a complete understanding of how the product fits into the strategic architecture of the organization
- Ability to communicate information effectively with people from varying backgrounds including technical teams, users and business stakeholders, building trust and collaboration so that everyone can make decisions together as a group.
- Expertise in drawing business process workflows, requirements backlog preparation and ability to break down large complex processes into small tangible product output for incremental business value delivery
