About You:
- You have experience working with creative agencies and understand their hiring needs and challenges.
- You have a strong track record in sales, from prospecting and outreach to pitching and closing new business.
- You build relationships easily and know how to navigate organizations to connect with key decision-makers.
- You are motivated by clear goals and perform well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- You understand how agencies use independent/freelance talent for projects and scale teams, particularly for creative and technical roles.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing and onboarding new agencies
- Develop strategic partnerships with creative agencies and growth-stage tech companies
- Educate agencies on how Contra can solve their hiring challenges and help them scale faster
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of agency leads, using personalized outreach and creative strategies
- Consistently meet or exceed targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Keep accurate records of deals, forecasts, and customer interactions in HubSpot
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales—ideally within creative agencies or growth-stage tech companies
- A proven track record of winning new business and bringing in net new agency customers
- Strong ability to sell to executive teams, hiring managers, and decision-makers
- A strategic, consultative sales mindset with a passion for helping agencies scale
- Located in Toronto, Canada
Total Comp:
- Salary
- Base: $75,000 CAD/yr
- Additional Compensation: Commission
- Health + dental benefits
- Monthly transit/gym reimbursement
- We will provide you with a company laptop on your start date
