The Affordability & Vulnerability (A&V) team at E.ON Next focuses on supporting vulnerable customers by ensuring they receive tailored outcomes and championing their needs. This role, reporting to the Head of A&V, is responsible for developing and delivering the A&V partnerships strategy, which involves establishing partnerships with charities and other organizations to help customers manage their energy accounts. The position requires collaboration across teams to create innovative solutions, optimize funding, and meet the needs of vulnerable customers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing external suppliers, a passion for outstanding customer service, an understanding of new technologies, and the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders while developing strategic plans.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver A&V Partnerships Strategy including:

  • Identification and engagement of potential partners

  • Development of partnership agreements 

  • Accountability for donation strategy

  • Monitoring and evaluation of partnership effectiveness

  • Collaborate across E.ON to coordinate approaches for innovative customer support solutions.

  • Optimise existing funding sources and identify new funding opportunities.

  • Understand and leverage opportunities provided by new technologies.

  • Produce strategic plans for A&V partnerships and innovation.

  • Work with external suppliers and partners to deliver outstanding customer experience and outcomes.

  • You should have experience of working with external suppliers and partners and be confident in liaising with a range of stakeholders, including at senior level.

  • Experience of partnerships relating to affordability and vulnerability

  • Location –  Nottingham - E.ON Next office, Trinity House, 2 Burton St, Nottingham NG1 4BX, Leicester - Granite House, Watermead Business Park, Syston, LE7 1PF, Bolton - E.ON Next, Aspinall House, Aspinall Cl, Horwich, Bolton BL6 6QQ with travel to our other sites when required. 

  • Working environment: Flexible hybrid working – a blend of in the office and home working. 

  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays each year – this includes a guaranteed day off for your birthday if you want it.
