A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a talented and motivated Affera™ Mapping Specialist to join our team and drive the growth of our Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business across Western Europe
You will provide expert clinical and technical support across Europe, as well as training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the Affera Mapping and Navigation System across Western Europe (e.g. emergency support, complex cases, live cases, new site initiations, future Affera technologies).
- Serve as a European Affera mentor/coach, sharing your experience and influencing others to be proficient in the mapping technologies.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to all CAS products and related procedures.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
- Understand and support the Western European business objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
- Collaborate and strategize with the Affera European Core Team on the development and delivery of customer and employee T&E programs, as well as Marketing Programs.
Required knowledge and experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines PLUS a minimum of 5 years of recent work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Ability to reach a well-connected international airport within short notice
- Ability to stand, sit, walk for 8 hours a day.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers.
