EXPERIENCE THE EDGE
At PSP, we encourage our employees to grow, forge powerful relationships, contribute and fuel inspired investment launchpads. We are committed to a culture that fosters collaboration and allows us to think beyond, in an interconnected way. We advocate for our employees to speak-up, learn, experiment, share, and be part of an inclusive work environment where diversity is embraced.
ABOUT THE TEAM
In the last years, geopolitics has emerged as an important factor for the investment decision making process. The fragmentation of trade relationships and spheres of influence have added new dimensions which a global investor such as PSP must consider. These developments also have lent new weight to country and economic analysis when considering investment decisions. The result has been the creation of a specialized team in the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) group.
We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of international politics, political economy, geography, and statistical analysis. This should include the capacity to analyze regulatory, commercial, and operational indicators and quantitative metrics to form a coherent assessment of a specific market or geography. They also will be familiar with the development of geopolitical risk scenarios for the purposes of strategic planning and stress testing in an investment context. Knowledge of how regulations can impact the long-term outlook for specific sectors, from natural resources and energy to infrastructure and supply chains, would be an important advantage.
