We’re looking for an Advertising & Affiliate Partnerships Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. This role will be responsible for driving two primary growth areas for PSA: building partnerships with third-party advertisers to generate non-grading revenue through advertising contracts across a variety of PSA-owned surfaces, and supporting the partner management of our growing affiliate marketing program to drive PSA new grading customer acquisition. You’ll be instrumental in selling advertising inventory, scaling our advertising strategies, managing budgets, and optimizing and executing across both key growth marketing channels.

You’ll report directly to the Paid Growth Marketing Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process. 

What You’ll Do: 

Advertising Sales:

  • Outbound Strategy: Develop and execute upon an outbound strategy for monetizing omnichannel advertising surfaces (PSA magazine, PSA email, etc) through third-party advertising contracts.
  • Lead Generation & Sales: Identify, pitch, and close advertising deals with relevant partners and brands looking to advertise to the PSA audience that concurrently brings additive value to the table for the PSA customer base.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms of advertising contracts to maximize revenue potential while delivering value to partners.
  • Ad Inventory Management: Oversee the management of ad space, including but not limited to available email, magazine, and editorial placements.
  • Cross-functional Execution: Work closely with teams across marketing (growth ops, creative studio, integrated marketing, social, etc) and other internal teams like sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end advertising delivery and uphold our quality PSA customer experience.
  • Revenue Tracking: Track and analyze ad sales performance, and provide detailed revenue forecasts and reports.

Affiliate Marketing Program:

  • Grow the PSA Affiliate Program: Assist our growth acquisition team in managing and scaling our existing affiliate marketing program, with a primary focus on signing new promotional partners to help drive new grading customer acquisition (B2B2C model).
  • Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-quality affiliates, influencers, and content partners to promote PSA every month.
  • Outbound Partnership Management: Maintain strong relationships and establish a regular communication cadence with all new and existing affiliate partners, while ensuring third-party promotion of PSA aligns with overall business goals.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor affiliate performance, ensure partners are actively promoting, and provide conversion optimization recommendations for partners.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Analyze data to measure affiliate performance, track key internal performance metrics, manage against a program budget, and generate regular reports for key internal stakeholders.

Who You Are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in field marketing, growth marketing, affiliate marketing, sales, business development, or a related role, with a proven track record of scaling marketing programs and generating revenue.
  • Strong background in selling advertising space or contracts, including client prospecting, sales pitches, and contract negotiations across both print and digital channels.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large-scale affiliate marketing programs, recruiting and managing affiliates, and optimizing for performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work closely with marketing analytics and finance to objectively communicate and optimize performance
  • Passion for collecting and/or interest in learning more about the industry

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $75,000-$130,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role is eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
