Position Summary

Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints. Manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Scrum Masters managing software development projects using the Agile development framework.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Lead and manage cross-location project teams, ensuring clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals, with strong follow-up and follow-through to ensure task completion:

  • Foster strong cross-team collaboration across different locations, ensuring alignment and effective communication among diverse technical teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Track and resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

  • Ensure that all project risks are documented and communicated to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Training and/or Experience

8+ years of experience working in the technology industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management in a product development company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong engineering background, with experience working closely with highly technical teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across locations and with diverse technical teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate technical challenges.

  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Experience working in dynamic work environments is a plus.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Expertise in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence or Microsoft Project

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

  • Gaming domain is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
