PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation - Responsible for technical administration and operations of the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) environment. Provide all required support for Sterling Integrator, including but not limited SBI, SFG (Sterling File Gateway), SPE/ITX-A, and Lightwell Framework. Install Sterling Integrator products suite and maintain stability and performance of the SFG, Sterling B2B Integrator, and Sterling Secure Proxy environments. Manage the performance of the EDI Sterling environment, including capacity planning and tuning. Support B2B communication and protocols including FTP, SFTP, HTTPS and AS2. Create best practices for SFG and Sterling B2B Integrator with supporting documentation and standard operating procedures. Resolve EDI Sterling B2B incidents and events. Work closely with other teams to resolve all EDI B2B issues. Perform code deployments, application upgrades, performance monitoring, and tuning of the EDI landscapes. Identify opportunities to utilize the technology to resolve technical and business problems, as well as provide remediation support during incident and event resolution.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related IT field. Requires at least 5 years of experience in any job title/position/occupation involving technical administration in EDI.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience must include: overseeing operations of secure and highly available EDI computing platforms, servers, and networks; installing, maintaining, upgrading, and improving the EDI systems; maintaining reliability, performance, and support of applications, including monitoring the operating environments, responding to incidents and problems, and growth planning; improving applications delivery and maintaining smooth and reliable operations of solutions, including performing regular maintenance, patching, upgrade, and performance tuning; performing Java Virtual Machine tuning and optimizing performance and reliability of Java Virtual machines; designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and performing testing of Linux based applications; writing OS scripts for application administration, automation, system start/stop, and monitoring; solving complex technical issues impacting service availability; diagnosing EDI systems in large clustered installations and highly available application solutions; monitoring and alerting solutions to prevent system disruption; and utilize AS2, SFTP, data-streaming, and data translation pipelines for file transmission protocols.
