Administrative Support - Replacement for Maternity Leave
Job Description: Applied Materials is seeking an experienced and a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the bossiness unit and it will include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, assist with the planning and execution of events, and performing various administrative tasks. You will be expected to be proactive and take ownership of your work and be accountable for the deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain executives' schedules, including arranging meetings and appointments using knowledge and judgment of the Executives priorities and business practices/procedures.
- Attend meetings as needed, taking notes, gathering action items, and ensuring follow-up.
- Creating presentations, collects and prepares information to use in discussion/ meetings
- Lead and support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Act as point of contact and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external partners.
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports.
- Organize and drive onsite/offsite team building activities and events.
- Assist budget monitoring ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administration experience with a strong preference for experience in a global technology company.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant to a high-level executive.
- Proactivity, anticipate needs, foresee issues, and provide solutions.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English and Hebrew.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to exhibit Applied Material’s values: integrity & respect, customer focus, commitment to excellence, accountability, teamwork.
- High level of confidentiality and professional judgment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with remote teams across various geographies and time zones in a global company.
- Knowledge in applications including: TAS, Concur, Smartsheet, Teams.
