Academic Req:    Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university. 
Work experience:    Clerical and social media experience preferred. 

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
1.    Participate in weekly supervision with assigned supervisor.
2.    Ensure all data entry and documentation are submitted according to provided standards and timelines.
3.    Assist in internal communication efforts by developing content, editing and design support.
4.    Research, monitor, and analyze state and federal policy legislation and issues affecting our population. 
5.    Assist in content creation for the various program’s media pages and demonstrate an increased social media presence by the end of the internship.
6.    Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
7.    Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, community members, and complying with required dress code at all times.

Other Responsibilities:
1.    Provide administrative support by following up on action items and commitments made by staff during meetings. 
2.    Research assigned topics to assist in updating and formatting training and program material. 
3.    Attend regular staff and administrative meetings.
4.    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1.    Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
2.    Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
3.    Some local travel to sites may be necessary.
4.    Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
5.    Strong communication and organizational skills. 
6.    Demonstrate the ability to: 
a.    Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b.    Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. 
c.    Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a multidisciplinary team member.
7.    Demonstrate a working knowledge of Human Trafficking Interdiction policies and procedures.
