A Day in the LifeThe Administrative Assistant role is responsible for the management of all scheduling, meeting planning, and general administrative activities for the Sr. Regional Business Director, the Sr. Director of Finance (Medtronic Canada) and the Central Regional Leadership Team. This role will report to the Sr. Regional Business Director, Central, and as an essential member of the Central Team, will strive to enhance regional business efficiencies, execute meeting logistics, help deliver team engagement programs and assist the Sr. Business Director & Sr. Finance Director with their communication strategies.
A Day in the life:
- Provides general administrative support including preparing communications and maintaining calendars in Outlook
- Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining electronic files (OneDrive and SharePoint); arranging regional meetings and conferences; compiles and reports on information relevant to the supervisor's responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional support teams as well as their colleagues on the East and West Zone Teams
- Responsible for coordinating travel and submitting expenses in Concur.
- Completes all administrative tasks including weekly Cornerstone reports, expense reports, PowerPoint contents formatting, etc.
- Attend and participate in regional meetings and training programs if required.
- Attend/coordinate regional and divisional events including National Sales Meeting if required
- Establish outside vendors and suppliers in our AP system.

JOB EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive Experience working with Microsoft office applications, Teams/Zoom virtual conferencing, Concur and other Medtronic applications and platforms
