Activation Marketer

Solventum Purification & Filtration business

We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, receipt of regulatory approvals, and country specific information and consultation needs where required. This is a significant milestone for the P&F business and will allow for the strategic investment and resources needed for sustaining growth and delivering customer solutions. By joining us during this transitional period, you will be able to work alongside an energized and mission-driven team who is experiencing this transition along with you. Until then, Solventum will continue to operate as a unified entity, and employment is subject to all applicable terms and conditions as set forth in our employment agreement and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead P&F Activation marketing in Malaysia, working closely with Sales team to meet & achieve financial goals
• Responsible for all P&F business marketing, with a primary focus on the Drinking Water business
• Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of country marketing plans, as well as campaign execution to drive demand generation and growth acceleration
• Provide market and competitive intelligence and input to the Area teams (Area portfolio, NPI and Integrated Marketing)
• NPI voice of market, ideas, local needs and collaborate on global NPI projects
• Marketing disciplines in pricing, portfolio management, end-user engagement, channel strategy and customer communication
• Identify business opportunities through data analysis and market investigation
• Develop country activation marketing plan aligned with global/area strategies
• Ensure rational marketing expense allocation and control within budget

Preferred Background:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration is required
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant working experience in marketing, preferably in Consumer, Commercial Food Service and eCommerce related
• Proven track record in strategic planning, new product launches, and promotional campaign execution
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for market trends and competitor dynamics
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate marketing strategies clearly and concisely.
