Join our Acting Team to support teaching, learning, and research through specialist learning resources. Provide technical assistance, including inductions and demonstrations, ensuring students effectively use theatre equipment and spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rigging, de-rigging, and operating lighting and sound systems.

  • Music editing, recording, and managing digital media services.

  • Supervising theatre setups and performances.

  • Inspecting, maintaining, and advising on equipment repairs.

  • Providing workshops, guidance, and technical demonstrations.

  • Supporting film and studio productions both on-site and on location.

  • Organizing and maintaining technical theatre resources, including PAT testing and upgrades.

  • Designing lighting, sound, and stage sets for performances.

  • Delivering Health & Safety inductions and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

  • Collaborating with staff and students to support their technical and creative needs.

  • Assisting with inventory management and budget administration.

  • Creating technical training materials for studio and editing resources.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating to IT when necessary.

  • Keeping up with industry developments and contributing to research at Regent’s University London.

  • Assisting with university events and deputizing for colleagues as needed.
