Freshfields US LLP is seeking associates with one or more years of experience in antitrust law fluent in English and one or more of Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and/or Vietnamese to join its world-leading antitrust practice in the firm’s Silicon Valley or San Francisco office.

The Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices provide unique value-added to clients combining proximity to local clients and insight and access to all key antitrust agencies as well as essential litigation capability in California. Most of our matters involve working seamlessly with teams in other offices as part of a global matter for local clients.
We are looking for energetic, intellectually curious applicants who have:
- At least one years of experience supporting senior associates and partners in antitrust law, either counselling, agency-facing or litigation.
- Fluent in English and at least one of Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and/or Vietnamese. Additional languages are a bonus.
- An ability to work cross-jurisdictionally supporting local clients on all their international antitrust needs across the globe.
- A growth mindset (this is a pre-requisite!)

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP associates are compensated based on leading market rates. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $235,000 - $390,000, commensurate with experience, and the firm provides bonuses to associates in good standing consistent with the California and New York legal markets.
