Summary:

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for reviewing and paying invoices in a timely manner. Also, they will be responsible for enforcing Procure to Pay polices to ensure Company-wide compliance.  Individual will also be “Power User” of Company ERP system

Essential Functions:

  • Process all invoices and enter in to Great Plains/Dynamics ERP system.
  • Correct errors and resolve any and all discrepancies.
  • Facilitates the payment process by ensuring all required documentation is accompanied with the payment request. Verify approval on all invoices and check requests.
  • Assist with Quarterly reviews, interim and year end audits, both internal and external.
  • Prepare ad-hoc and special projects as deemed necessary during the course of the year.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable files and records.
  • Respond timely to internal (employee) and external (vendor) inquiries.
  • Create new Vendors in Dynamics, enroll appropriate Banking/ACH information.
  • Support Manager in Concur/Expense Reporting administration and audits as needed.
  • Assist business in coding of invoices.
  • Support 1099 reporting processes.                                     

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other Finance related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 years of Full Cycle Accounts Payable Experience. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with an attention to quality and timely analyses and reporting.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of Great Plains/Dynamics/MS365 a plus

Non-Technical Skills: 

  • Highly motivated and great attention to detail. Strong endurance to work under tight timelines and complex/changing situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Broad level of interpersonal skills and flexibility. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.

Physical Demands: 

  • Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work

Working Conditions: 

  • Requires up to 0% domestic and international travel
