Join a great Accounting team
You will join our Accounting team in Aarhus consisting of a handful of experienced accountants who ensure that all accounting-related matters are taken care of in due time. We are a part of the Finance department with a total of 25 highly professional people ready to support you in all financial aspects. We have an informal work environment, flexible seating arrangements and a high employee satisfaction.
Team management and hands-on tasks
As our new team lead in accounting, your role will consist of hands-on accounting tasks as well as team management, including both professional management and personal development of the team. You will furthermore ensure accurate and efficient accounting in the Danish legal entity and its branches.
Your area of responsibilities will be focused around:

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Cost center controlling
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Month-end procedures
  • VAT reporting and -handling
  • Support both year end processes and direct contact with external auditors
  • Drive optimizations in S/4Hana as process owner

Solid accounting experience and an interest in management
Solid hands-on accounting knowledge and an empathetic approach towards colleagues and stakeholders makes you well equipped and motivated to lead an accounting team. You are known as a person who is organised and detail-oriented and always meets deadlines. Lastly, you live within driving distance from Aarhus and furthermore have experience working in an international company.
We also imagine that you:

  • Have solid experience working with financial controlling and accounting, preferable HD(R) or cand.merc.aud.
  • Are an IFRS expert and have been responsible for preparing the annual report
  • Are familiar with and have interest in Danish corporate taxes and domestic and foreign VAT handling.
  • Have SAP 4/HANA experience
  • Are an Excel superuser as
  • Are fluent in Danish and have advanced English skills
