Job Description

Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:

• Manage Accounts Payable
• Process and manage all factory and inventory payments including the 3-way match process
• Oversee and verify payments prepared by other Accounting Specialists before Controller approves outgoing payments
• Reconcile, verify, and post all outflows
• Serve as the point person for suppliers and internal cross-functional inquiries and requests around payment issues
• Develop guidelines for proper handling and posting of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records
• Assist with month-end close process
• Prepare cash forecast reports and report on company financial health and liquidity
• Participate in budget and forecast process

Qualifications

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience: 

• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.), pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)
• SQL knowledge, preferred
• Confident working with internal and external customers
• Working knowledge of GAAP
