Accounting Manager 


CelLink Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting department and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily recording of transactions, ensuring they are entered correctly into the accounting system. This includes sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Review and approve or reject expense reports submitted by employees, ensuring compliance with company expense policies.
  • Work closely with HR and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including checks on the correctness of hours worked, deductions, and tax calculations.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial information.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency within the accounting department. Implement best practices in accounting operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections, while managing cash flow effectively.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects such as system implementations or process re-engineering related to accounting practices.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Public accounting experience is highly preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting standards.
  • High level of attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to identify and implement process improvements.

Working Conditions/Hours:

 Full time/Salaried

  • Able/willing to travel and work, as needed
  • Available/willing to work overtime to meet project commitments, as required

Work Environment – Office

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and exposure to hazardous materials used in the manufacturing process.

Physical Demands – Office

This position requires the ability to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard.
