KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with our clients' executives and management to drive financial objectives, deliver timely accounting data and reports, and support key financial goals.
- Oversee the month-end accounting close process, ensuring accurate and timely results in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Review and analyze client financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues that may impact the business, presenting data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Possess a deep understanding of effective internal controls and offer practical recommendations to enhance our clients' control systems.
- Serve as a trusted partner and valuable advisor to business leaders, providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure that project timelines and objectives are met while making value-added recommendations to enhance the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in public accounting and industry, working with mid-size to large corporations.
- Profound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Expertise in general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience working with multiple large ERP systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree.
- CPA, CMA, CGMA certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust across all levels of the organization.
- Organized and pragmatic, thriving in a results-oriented environment.
