Having around 220 specialized human resources Thales Portugal has a strong capability to design, develop, and deploy systems and services efficiently in the Defence, Security (Critical Information Systems, Critical Infrastructure and Banking) and Transportation markets.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
This position will focus on processing daily payments and accounting for these payments as per process rules and deadlines, meeting monthly close activities on critical deadlines.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Electronic payment processing via BACs of third party and/or Intercompany invoices within strict deadlines in multi-operator Thales companies
- Instigate / resolve invoice queries
- Maintain prepayments and debit balances at an acceptable level
- Process Staff Expenses claims and carry out compliance checks
- Monthly closing reports and routines with strict deadlines
- Ad-hoc Payables related tasks - as and when required

Experience:
Essential
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable
- Experience of working for a large and complex organisation - Shared Service Centre environment
- Good knowledge of P2P processes acquired in an international company
