Position Overview: As an Accountant, you'll manage the company's financial operations, specializing in construction-specific accounting processes including certified payroll and minority reporting. You'll work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations in QuickBooks Online (A/P, A/R, credit card transactions)
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute certified payroll processing and minority reporting requirements
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting processes for maximum efficiency
- Work independently while adhering to established procedures and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, required
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset
- Proven ability to multitask
- Ability to be onsite 5 days/week, potential for hybrid flexibility after 1 year of service
Preferred Skills:
- Procore software experience
- Experience in the construction industry
- Experience with certified payroll and minority reporting
- Construction-specific compliance knowledge
What We Offer:
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
