Job Description

Specific Job Duties:

· Maintain the general ledger (i.e. new accounts, structure, Hyperion, etc.)

· Perform various account reconciliations (i.e. balance sheets, checking account, & other documents)

· Prepare & input journal entries

· Prepares daily cash forecasting and investing.

· Reviews/reconciles tooling on a monthly basis.

· Provides information for testing audits.

· Prepares general cash bank reconciliation.

· Reviews capital AFE’s before forwarding them on to management for approval.

· Reconciles capital expenditures and report internally.

· Gathers information and prepares quarterly sales tax return.

· Inputs monthly investor’s values into spreadsheets to prepare monthly journal entry.

· Reconciles depreciation on a monthly basis and prepares monthly journal entry.

· Provides various schedules for the annual year-end audit.

· Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.

· Maintains a clean and safe work area.

· Files, types, create charts, make copies and distribute mail as necessary.

· Fills in for other Team Members in the Finance department as needed.

· Completes documentation of activities and generates other reports as required.

· Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller

Educational Requirements:

· B.S. in Business (Finance or Accounting) or equivalent work experience (required)

· B.S. degree in Accounting and relevant work experience (preferred)

Skills and Experience:

· Three years in accounting with experience in period closing and accounting systems. Experience using Lotus and other accounting based software programs. One year continuous work experience.

· Must have good problem solving and analytical skills. Must have strong math skills.

· Must have good computer skills and be able to use office equipment.

· Must work well with others. Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written.

· Must have the ability to read and comprehend written procedures.

· Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
