Our Finance team is looking for a new talent, starting at the earliest possible time as Accountant (m/f/d) in Hosingen, Luxembourg.

How you’ll add value

We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d), who will be responsible for daily accounting tasks related to the preparation and consolidation of monthly financials, including analysis of the P/L and Balance Sheet. This role collaborates with various teams across the organization to analyse and understand the business. This person will report directly to the Financial Controller.

What you’ll do

• Daily accounting with focus on preparing and analyzing P/L and Balance Sheet and assist with monthly close and consolidation process
• Analyze monthly company expenses, summarize key conclusions, and generate SG&A reporting for management
• Analyze actuals vs budget, explain variances, and summarize key conclusions
• Own fixed assets accounting and work with all functions to ensure adequate controls are in place for accurate reporting 
• Own tracking and prepare reporting of grant projects
• Create and prepare various financial and data reports by pulling data from ERP systems, using pivot tables and v-lookups in Excel to improve visibility on business trends 

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance in an Industrial Environment.
• Be reliable in delivering quality work against deadlines
• Ability to work independently, juggle priorities,
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with business partners
• Strong communication skills – both in writing and verbal
• Ability to pull data, analyse, and summarize key conclusions
• Strong knowledge of accounting
• Accounting software (Oracle, SAP,…)
• Excel super user
• Good math skills, analytical and critical thinking, ability to work with data and spot numerical errors
• Must speak English, knowledge of German is a real asset.
