What You'll Do 

The Accountant at Trust Automation will contribute to the company’s success by providing accounting support, with a focus on accuracy, analysis, and reporting. While government contract accounting experience is not required, it would be a benefit given Trust Automation’s role as a government contractor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Support year-end audit activities
• Assist with compliance for government contracts and related reports
• Help in maintaining overhead rates and labor tables
• Assist in tax compliance, including preparing schedules for sales tax, quarterly estimates, and year-end reporting
• Collaborate with the accounting team to provide backup for different roles
• Provide support during the implementation of ERP systems
• Contribute to pricing rate calculations for new contracts

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field 
• At least two years of professional accounting experience 
• Knowledge of GAAP, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience with ERP systems 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently 
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team 
• Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
• Familiarity with government accounting concepts like Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Experience in manufacturing or government contracting

Physical Requirements

• Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person, on the telephone or virtually.
• Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, or assemble/manufacture intricate items.
• Seeing to read a variety of materials.
• Sitting or standing for extended period of time.
• Physical agility to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.
• Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.

Pay/Salary Information Pay scale for this position - $68,100.00 - $80,000.00 annually

This is a hybrid remote position
