WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US:

Accountant is a finance professional who ensures that business transactions are captured and booked accordingly. The

Accountant has an understanding of accounting practices and is responsible for booking transactions according to global

policies and local GAAP. An Accountant will be assigned a specific portion of the month-end closing duties. The areas of

responsibility can vary from entity to entity depending and the composition of the team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Performs the day-to-day finance operations.
• Performs month end close activities such journal entries (prepayments, depreciations/amortizations, accruals and reclasses)
• Prepares balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Prepares fixed assets reports, additions, transfer, disposal/retirement
• Preparation of financial statements based on local accounting requirements
• Any ad hoc responsibilities as and when required

WHAT WE VALUE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• With at least 2 years professional experience in General Ledger Accounting
• Experience with SAP or any ERP system
• With strong knowledge of MS Office applications
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized, thorough and detailed, with a creative approach to problem solving
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures, follow through on issues and prioritize effectively
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and with initiative
• A collaborative worker who can bring value to a team-focused work environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Certain amount of flexibility in the working time may be required at times, to cater to internal clients in different time zones
• Fluent in English, with effective written and verbal communication skills
