Job Description
• Be responsible for Legal financial reporting (preparation of financial statements accordingly both of local GAAP and IFRS), including accounting, tax with monthly and yearly closings
• Co-ordinate preparation of all necessary closing schedules (monthly yearly) and internal or external audits
• Collaboration with auditors to ensure smooth audit completion/signing
• Securing that the company has access to all needed knowledge and expertise within the finance/accountancy and direct tax area
• Collaborate on the functional plan (business plan) for Finance with input and support from Process Developer and the Components Finance managers on the strategic movement and development agenda
• Lead the accounting team (11 co-workers) and challenge and support them in their individual development
• Secure compliance with accounting and tax laws and legal rules and standards as well as securing compliance with Inter IKEA financial policies & procedures and internal work instructions
• Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Continually and actively evaluate and improve the effectiveness of bookkeeping processes and controls to maximize departmental productivity and minimize errors made by staff
Qualifications
• Deep knowledge of both financial and management accounting/tax principles, practices, standards, and regulations
• Minimum 5 years experience from a similar position in an international group of companies
• Business partnering skills and strong relationship builder
• Strong business thinking and seeing things both with holistic perspective as well as being able to work with details
• Motivation and energy in working also on a strategic level continuing the journey which has been started with “Future of Finance”
• Strong commitment!

• Fluent English
