Supports the day to day General Accounting Tax Operations activities for the following process areas:

Contribute to the tax set-up

Country specific manual tax processes

Tax data review and preparation

Follow-up activities related to the General Accounting Tax Operations plausibility checks

Support the preparation of different Tax reports

Tax payment and adjustment
-
Management of tax audit queries
-
Compile system maintenance´s needs and checks correctly/ on time.

System maintenance
-
General Accounting Tax Operations activities for other local taxes

Withholding tax related activities
-

Ensures the understanding and compliant service delivery across Covestro AG of agreed policies and procedures.

Understands service level agreements and key performance indicators for General Accounting Tax Operations related processes.
-
Contributes to the continuous maintenance and the update of General Accounting Tax Operations process activities and procedures.
-
Supports team members to achieve performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.

Assists the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the General Accounting Tax Operations transaction processing.
The minimum base salary is 1550 EUR and can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.
What You Offer

Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting and / or Finance.
-
Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the area of Accounting (ideally in SSC).
-
Preferable experience in Tax Operations processes in a complex and international business environment of advantage.
-
Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes.
-
Work experience with SAP and typical other IT-tools as a plus.
-
Profound knowledge of Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel).
-
Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure.

Acts as a role model by being a strong team-player.

Ability to adapt to new cultures and people.

Strong service orientation: strong commitment to customer orientation and understanding of customer needs and market trends.
