Accountant - Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable Accountant collaborates closely with other talented accounting and finance staff to promote integrity and spearhead billing operations. While reporting to the Regional Finance Director, this role has opportunities to collaborate with other AR accountants, run the full-cycle billing process, and oversee collections response. They will work directly with both internal stake holders and external customers while creating a customer centric approach to accounts receivable, collections, and credit management. Tasks and Duties

• Full Cycle AR: Reviewing and processing invoices, refunds, and credit memos

• Ensure all bank deposits are recorded timely and accurately

• Make daily collection calls/emails

• Send statements to outstanding customers

• Provide excellent customer service while responding to customer emails and phone calls

• Conduct account research and analysis

• Maintain an accurate aging report and actively address any aged items

• Review and approve credit limit and term increases

• Reconcile A/R to the G/L

• Perform other related month end activity and tasks assigned by the Finance Director

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting Preferred or equivalent work experience in relevant role

• 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Dependable and self motivated

• Analytical thinker with attention to details and aptitude for problem-solving

• Team orientation

• Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages; experience with Navision and Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred

• Proficient in English

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
