Job Description

We are looking for an operational and team-oriented Accountant for TOMRA Systems ASA, the parent company of the TOMRA Group. You will be an important supporter of the Group's finance function, the business units belonging to the head office, and collaborate with our subsidiaries.

We are looking for you who have expertise and experience in the areas of accounting, tax and duties. You are meticulous and enjoy working on details. You are motivated by professional discussions and interaction with colleagues, as well as enjoy challenging established practices to find new effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

Handling of incoming invoices. Ensure correct interpretation of the invoices, correct VAT handling and correct further flow as well as matching of purchase order invoices. Responsible for the dialogue internally and externally to achieve optimal invoice flow. Participate in the reconciliation of intercompany transactions in connection with the month-end close. Assist balance sheet reconciliation and other accounting-related tasks. 

Qualifications

• Higher economic education (1-3 years)
• Solid experience in accounting
• Solid expertise within the area of VAT
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
