Position Summary

e.l.f. Beauty is looking for a motivated, collaborative, Account Specialist to join our dynamic, high-growth company. Reporting to the Senior Director, this position is based in a remote office.

 

The Account Specialist will assist the sales team on bringing e.l.f. Cosmetics to life across Canadian national retailers. The role supports all customer management functions and assists in the day-to-day customer relations, customer promotional planning, item set up, light analytics, in-store activations, assortment planning and more.

 

The ideal candidate is someone who embraces e.l.f.’s dynamic culture of executing with speed and quality to drive solutions. S/he needs to be a self-starter bringing at least 2+ years of relevant sales experience. The ideal hire will be someone who has demonstrable skills working effectively with both internal and external cross-functional partners while thriving in an entrepreneurial environment comfortable with collaboration across all parts of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • General administration support requests (sending samples, listing forms etc)
  • Ensure all customer requests for information are met in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with all other members of the Sales team and cross-functional partners
  • Project management on in-store and visual merchandising needs
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with decision-makers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Provide administrative, clerical and customer support services
  • Support Account Manager(s) to ensure smooth sales operations
  • Prepare and distribute monthly sales reports
  • Sales reporting analysis to understand what’s working/not in assortment, tracking of new items, and endcap and display performance
  • In-Store merchandising updates
  • Item setup and maintenance with retailers – costing, case packs, name updates
  • Monitor and report on competitive brand launches and events
  • Provide support with retailer marketing and ecommerce requests
  • Track, analyze and present learnings from marketing campaigns
  • Attend and support at retailer conferences and events as needed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Fast learner, quick thinker
  • Retail Link experience, including Item360
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills. Specifically, Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Team-oriented, responsive, passion to succeed
  • Post-secondary Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar major
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team or independently
  • Demonstrates initiative, not afraid to troubleshoot on their own
  • Passion for beauty
