Sr. AP Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Lead Team to process high volume manufacturing invoices accurately
• Monitor service performance against agreed target
• Identify area of improvement and provide input for process improvement
• Identify risk that impacts service deliverable and initiate contingency plan
• Serve as point of contact to resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or discrepancies and documentation 
• Monitoring invoices to pay on time according to schedule
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries
• Review and Conduct a Monthly AP Accrual 
• Review and Perform AP reconciliation accounts
• Co-ordinate and support internal audit & external audit
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 12-year accounts payable experience is required with a team managerial role
• Knowledge of general accounting practices, regulatory standard, and compliance requirements
• General math skills
• Proficiency in MS office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
