As an Account Manager, you will work closely alongside the Account Director to oversee project progress and manage client relationships. You are responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, addressing client needs, and contributing to the growth of our clients’ businesses. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help drive business value for multiple clients while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Revenue Achievement Focus:
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with the Account Director and broader Client Service team.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and expand the scope of services for existing clients.
- Track and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
Project Management:
- Coordinate end-to-end project execution, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the Account Director and internal teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues swiftly to keep deliverables on track.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients at the project level, addressing their needs, concerns, and goals.
- Work with internal teams to propose solutions and strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
- Provide ongoing updates to clients and maintain regular communication to foster trusted partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS
- Experience: 3–5+ years in a client-facing or project management role, ideally working with Japanese large enterprises.
- Communication Skills: Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trust with mid to senior-level stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Strong Japanese language skills are required; English proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and drive projects toward successful outcomes.
- Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to identify new opportunities for client business growth.
