Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering against client projects and program scopes.

The Account Manager will play a key role on the agency team. Reporting into the Senior Account Manager, The Account Manager will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and the agency account team. The role will focus on developing the agency's relationship with a designated client.

This is hybrid position and will be a mix of in office and remote, in accordance with company policy.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, setting clear goals and strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular communication, including meetings, calls, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, strategy, media, etc.) to develop innovative and impactful solutions that address client challenges.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Execute on-site client events on behalf of the agency.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing timely reports and actionable insights to clients.
  • Actively seek opportunities to upsell and expand existing accounts, identifying additional areas of value for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities to provide thought leadership and inform strategic initiatives.
  • If applicable Lead and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

The physical demands of this role require the following:  

  • Bending, squatting, crouching and reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping including to arrange and display
  • Frequent lifting and moving cases of product and other objects of 50 pounds or more 

Qualifications

  •  
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in account management within an advertising agency or marketing consultancy, preferably with integrated and event experience
  • Required travel up to 10%
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and driving measurable results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Strong copywriting skills with an emphasis on external communications and social media
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving excellence
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this job classification is between $64,350.00-$77,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
