As an Account Manager, you will engage with customers to maintain and increase revenue, support account strategy, manage pricing negotiations, and ensure customer satisfaction through collaboration with PPG teams. You will focus on growth performance and develop strategies to enhance sales from preferred products.

As an Account Manager, you will engage with customers at all levels across the customer's organization to maintain and expand share of wallet. You will work with PPG's regional commercial teams, technical, product management, and operations teams to connect customer needs to PPG solutions. You will be a part of our Automotive OEM business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional accountability for growth performance: revenue & profitability ​

  • Sales process for local accounts or key account site ​

  • Support execution of account strategy for global accounts or define strategy for regional account in accordance with strategic marketing​.

  • Lead regional pricing (and contract) negotiations​.

  • Manage Pipeline and increase net share gain at customer​.

  • Demand Forecasting​

  • Follow-up on developments at local sites ​

  • Feedback and management of opportunities/threats/needs​

  • Establish contacts across customer organization and collect customer feedback​.

  • Contribute to account team discussions and account planning. ​

  • Coordinate with local Optima Service team to ensure customer satisfaction​.

  • Develop strategies to incorporate a high level of sales from PPG preferred products​.

  • Revenue ​

  • PC % & $ ​

  • Pipeline value. ​

  • Net share gain ​

  • Client link usage and sales processes​

  • Customer DSO, % current ​

  • Customer DOI ​

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

  • Experience with large OEM’s and coatings technology is beneficial
