About the job
Within our US Service Division, you will be responsible for selling the company's products and services to existing customers for Service Sales which includes Parts, Field Service, Reconditioning other maintenance and repair activities as well as Service Agreements for Plate Heat Exchanger equipment.
In this role, you will be an active member of the Service Sales team and will contribute to the growth of the business. From a daily responsibility standpoint, you will:
- Analyze the market and competitors to create a strategic plan with a focus on new business growth
- Support development of overall Service Strategy to position company for growth via rep and channel engagement channel, innovative commercial incentive development and product initiatives.
- Develop and create the sales opportunity pipeline
- Prepare proposals for Service, Service Agreements
- Promote and execute audits at customer site utilizing Alfa Laval propriety tools
- Maintain a focus on regain and replacement opportunities in the existing installed base.
- Prioritize market presence and supports regional sales opportunities.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects, as required.
- Create market activities in conjunction with the Demand Generation team.
- Works with internal teams to ensure alignment
What you know
You have excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills. You have high energy, a positive attitude and enjoy developing the customer relationship. You have prior experience in:
- Working in a matrixed organization
- Commercial Acumen (incentive development, pricing strategy)
- Leveraging data/analysis to drive growth and create strategy
- Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Understanding and Negotiating Terms & Conditions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in Service sales
- Experience with Channel management preferred
- Willingness to travel 30-40%
