The Account Manager will be responsible for building strong client relationships, managing active accounts, and driving customer satisfaction by ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of our supply chain and transportation optimization solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for continuous improvement in supply chain, logistics, technology, client engagement and satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.

  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to recommend tailored solutions and services to clients to help them achieve their key strategic goals.

  • Responsible for tracking, monitoring and maintaining overall client satisfaction.

  • Manage the SaaS contract renewal process.

  • Actively manage financial reporting for running fees for licensing and CRs.

  • Identifying and communicating risks to management in the short to long term for the client.

  • Creating and maturing scalable business processes and KPIs to support improved efficiency and effectiveness of account management.

Account Growth and Longevity:

  • Identify and champion opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services within the software portfolio and professional services ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to expand the client portfolio and meet revenue goals.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor client account performance KPIs, usage, revenue growth, retention rate and satisfaction metrics, ensuring alignment with client objectives and goals.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reviews and reports to clients and internal teams.

  • Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market challenges, and competitor offerings in the TMS and supply chain space.

  • Provide clients with insights and recommendations to optimize their supply chain and transportation operations.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the software solutions portfolio benefits to effectively advise clients

Customer Support:

  • Acting as a liaison between clients and the technical support team to address and resolve client concerns or technical issues.

  • Advocate for client needs within the organization to enhance the product and services.

Organizational Support:

  • Willingness and desire to get involved in supporting and leading internal initiatives outside of the day-to-day task.

  • Ability to lead and mentor less experienced team members to improve their professional development

  • Overall collaborative team player with a desire for improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness

Project Delivery Support:

  • Willingness and desire to get involved in supporting and leading internal initiatives outside of the day-to-day task.

  • Oversee the launch of new customers, ensuring timely and successful software implementations on budget.

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Proactively identify and address project challenges to minimize disruptions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while meeting quality and performance standards.

  • Develop and facilitate design workshops to determine functional and system requirements to meet client business requirements.

  • Escalate critical issues to senior management when needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales within the supply chain, transportation and logistics software industry.

  • Experience in managing client relationships and facilitating cross-functional collaboration between business and technical teams.

  • Familiarity with supply chain transportation and logistics platforms and supply chain operations is highly desirable.

  • 2-3 years of experience leading teams in delivering supply chain software solutions i.e. Project Management, Stakeholder Mgt with indirect or direct reports.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and make improvements in areas of development

  • Ability to identify potential opportunities for the organization to increase revenue

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and an understanding of supply chain and transportation solutions.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • High Motivation for personal development, willing to take responsibility and get involved while working successfully with a diverse cultural team.
